ZIVIS AI Trust Policy

ZIVIS is committed to building, deploying, and maintaining artificial intelligence systems that are secure, transparent, and trustworthy. This policy outlines how we design, test, and operate AI across our products, services, and internal environments. It reflects the principles of the ZIVIS AI Trust Framework and is aligned with leading frameworks including ISO 42001, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and the OWASP Top 10 for LLM/AI Applications.

While ZIVIS is not yet formally certified under these standards, our practices are designed to conform to their core requirements and prepare for independent audit in future program phases.

    Security and Resilience

Security and resilience are foundational to our approach. All AI models, APIs, and pipelines operate within segmented, encrypted environments. We conduct regular adversarial and red-team testing to identify vulnerabilities such as prompt injection, data leakage, and insecure context exposure. Findings are tracked through our vulnerability management process and re-tested following remediation. AI-related incidents are handled within our enterprise incident-response framework, ensuring consistent investigation, containment, and corrective action.

    Privacy and Data Protection

ZIVIS applies rigorous privacy and data-protection standards. Data used for model development or evaluation is minimized, pseudonymized, and processed in compliance with applicable laws including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA where relevant. Personal or sensitive information is not used for model training without explicit written consent. Prompt logs and context histories are sanitized before analysis, and all data-subject rights are supported through defined request channels.

    Fairness and Responsible Use

Fairness and responsible use are guiding principles, even as our ethical testing capabilities continue to mature. Formalized bias or fairness testing are included in our framework and development processes and are structured to incorporate these controls as our platform expands. We prohibit any use of AI that could cause harm, mislead users, or support unlawful or discriminatory outcomes.

    Transparency and Explainability

Transparency and explainability are central to customer trust. Each AI feature is documented with its intended purpose, input sources, and known limitations. Customers are informed when they are interacting with AI-generated output, and where feasible, explainability features are included to support interpretation. ZIVIS maintains detailed internal documentation of model behavior and data lineage, available to enterprise clients under confidentiality agreement.

    Human Oversight and Control

Human oversight and control remain mandatory for all high-impact decisions. AI outputs in areas such as security, compliance, or financial assessment require human validation and approval. Automated systems include fail-safes that suspend processing if anomalies are detected, and all staff receive training on how to escalate potential trust or safety concerns.

    Framework Alignment and Certification

ZIVIS's operational controls and evaluation processes are aligned with—but not yet formally certified under—ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, SOC 2, and OWASP AI Top 10. We conduct internal control reviews and third-party security assessments to validate our progress toward these frameworks. As we mature, we plan to pursue formal certification to provide external assurance of our practices.

    Continuous Monitoring and Improvement

Continuous monitoring drives improvement across all AI systems. Model performance, robustness, and latency are tracked over time, with updates made as needed to maintain integrity and reliability. Feedback from customers and internal red-team exercises feeds into control evolution, and the ZIVIS operating system will serve as a recurring attestation of system maturity once implemented.

    Customer Transparency

Customer transparency is a cornerstone of our trust model. We clearly communicate where and how AI is used in our products and provide a dedicated channel for concerns at trust@zivis.ai. All reported issues receive acknowledgment within 24 hours and are investigated through our defined review process.

    Policy Enforcement

This policy applies to all ZIVIS employees, contractors, and third-party partners. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary or contractual action. Partners and vendors are required to maintain equivalent security and trust standards to ensure the integrity of the broader ecosystem.
